Shimmering Studio was created when Shimmering Ivory designer Sian, with her talented team  decided to open the doors of the studio to inspire others and share their love and passion for designing and sewing. Throughout the years they have met many incredibly talented individuals and have gathered a handful of amazing tutors to make up the brand new Autumn ‘18 and Spring ‘19 course programme.

Our new premises is also our working studio where we design and make bespoke garments and prototypes for our collections. Not only can you try one of the courses but you can commission your own bespoke garment designed and made for you by Shimmering Ivory.

• The Studio is a beautiful, creative sanctuary in  the Hertfordshire countryside where you can come and relax and learn!
• We offer an array of sewing and craft classes, whether you are a beginner or an accomplished creator.
• We also welcome all professional creators, artists and designers. We aspire to encourage you to connect with us if you would like to work together.
• In addition, we offer a membership programme of different levels to enable using and sharing our gorgeous space.
