Make yourself a gorgeous fully lined boxed tote bag, perfect for filling with your favourite things. Learn to pin and cut out a sewing pattern, place the pattern onto fabric correctly, transfer pattern notations and cut. You will learn how to sew the garment accurately and have lots of fun creating your tote bag.
This workshop is aimed at those that have completed the Beginners sewing workshop or those that know their way around a sewing machine (beginner level). Perfect for those that haven't created their own garments or would like to create a super, big handy bag, picking up great tips along the way.
Various sewing machines will be provided, however, we promote people bringing their own sewing machine. Please contact us after booking so we can confirm your machine is suitable for the class. If you are bringing your own machine, you'll need to come early to set it up and come to class with your machine's handbook.
